Mazamitla is approximately 135 km from Guadalajara by road — about 2 hours by car via the Guadalajara–Morelia highway. The route goes through Jocotepec and Tuxcueca, climbing into the Sierra del Tigre. No tolls on the main route.

Zip lines, waterfall hikes, horseback riding, and forest walks are all available locally. Most require a separate admission fee paid on site. Let us know your interests in advance.
